Ronald Ingall, age 81, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at his home.
A viewing will be at 12 noon, Friday, May 6, 2011 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2011 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Bill Donaldson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Ron was born May 12, 1929 in Monroe, Michigan where he grew up. From 1946 to 1948 he served in the United States Navy stationed in Rhode Island Base at Brooklyn Navy yard and served aboard the USS Compton, USS Gainard and USS Dixon. Ron worked for Archer Machine in Los Angeles, California, a company known for manufacturing precision metal parts used in the construction of NASA space shuttles. The main shuttle that was built using the parts he made was the “Atlantis.” In 1993 he retired and moved from West Covina, California to Grants Pass, Oregon.
Ron attended Parkway Christian Center.
His hobbies included woodworking, fishing Oregon rivers, bowling, reading the Bible, reading country western novels and listening to country western music.
Ron was a great father and husband and was a loving grandfather.
