Roger Malcolm Thomas

Roger Malcolm Thomas, age 61 of Grants Pass, died Monday January 5, 2015 at OHSU in Portland, OR.

A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2015 at Jerome Prairie Bible Church. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
He was born June 4, 1953 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Charles E. and Dolores V. Thomas. In 1955 he and his family moved to the Rogue Valley. Roger spent many years in the lumber industry until starting his own business, Thomas Tractor Service of Medford, Oregon, where until recently he resided.

His hobbies included dirt biking, running, hiking, biking, and tinkering with old cars. He enjoyed his work and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include five children, David, Malcolm, Micah Thomas, Whitney Auguston of Medford, Oregon and Shannon Natho of Grants Pass, OR; brothers Jim of Jacksonville, OR, Charles (Buck) of Gold Hill, OR, and George (Lloyd) of Grants Pass, OR; sisters, Dolores (Dolly) Barry of Brookings, OR and Diane Padgett of Canyonville, OR; 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
