Robert George Schuetz

Robert George Schuetz, age 79, of Gold Hill, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at his home.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Robert was born May 8, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to George & Ione (Weber) Schuetz. After he graduated from Boys Technical High School he joined the United States Air Force. Upon discharge he moved to California and attended Northrop Aeronautical Institute and earned his A & P license. On February 19, 1955 in Inglewood, California he married Rena Dawson who survives. He worked for UAL (United Airlines) for 36 years. In 1998 he moved to Gold Hill.

He was a member and past trustee of Grants Pass Elks #1584.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, RVing and watching the birds.

In addition to his wife, Rena Schuetz of Gold Hill, survivors include two daughters, Wanda Hull of Lancaster, California and Sue Colisch of Grants Pass; a son, Steve Schuetz of Gold Hill; their spouses and three grandchildren.
