Robert E. "Bob" Hervey

Robert E. Hervey (Bob) was born in Longmont, Co on Nov. 23, 1934 to Albert & Frances Hervey. He passed in Grants Pass, OR on July 9, 2014 from pulmonary fibrosis. He spent his life in CO, CA and OR. He was married to Margaret Ray of Erie, CO in 1953 and had two daughters, Teri Lyn and Cathy Jene. He was married in 1961 to Charlotte Schnell of El Cajon, CA., who preceded him in death in 2005 after 44 years of marriage. He had two stepdaughters thru this union, Sharon Sicels of Murrieta, CA and JoAnn Hoffmockel (Charlie) of Grants Pass, OR. In 2007 he was married to Betty Jones of Grants Pass, OR and had two stepdaughters thru this union, Diana Koch (Michael) of Ridgefield, WA and Debbie Miller (Terry) of Grants Pass, OR and a stepson, Darrell Jones (Barbara) of Cape Coral, FL.

Mr. Hervey was preceded in death by his parents, two bro., Walter and Wilbur (Bill), a sister Betty Leonard and his daughter Cathy Hervey. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hervey of Grants Pass, OR; daughter, Teri Lyn Hervey of Pueblo, CO; sister Shirley (Richendifer) Sides (Al) of Sun City West, AZ, bro Roy A. Hervey (Ramona) of Alliance, NE. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Amy Gonzalas of Denver, CO and Ashlee
Gendron of Pueblo, CO and two great grandsons, Emmett and Domonic. Other survivors are aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins and step children.

Mr. Hervey grew up in Longmont attending schools in the area. During his work life he owned a service station in CA with his bro Roy; was a mechanic in the El Cajon, CA area; owned and operated an adult care center with his wife, Charlotte in CA; worked for Wano Co in Lafayette, Co, a Coors Distributor, in corporate accts.; was a maintenance supervisor at a neighborhood school in Grants Pass, OR and Enterprise Car Rental in Grants Pass. His hobbies were deep sea fishing, bowling and camping.

He was a member of the St. Vrain Masonic Lodge #23 AF & FM and 32nd degree Consistory Shrine, Lions Club of Lyons, Co and Moose Lodge of Longmont, CO.

Cremation has been conducted and private services will be held. Graveside services will be held in Longmont, CO at a later date by Lewellyn at Foothills Gardens of Memory, North of Longmont. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
