Robert C. "Bob" Edwards

Robert C. “Bob” Edwards, age 57, of Roseburg, died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his home.

Private interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Grants Pass. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Remembrances may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 230 Buysman Way, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526.

Bob was born March 30, 1956 at Port Hueneme Naval Hospital in Oxnard, California. He attended several schools in Alabama, California, Delaware, Oregon, and Panama and completed a GED certificate. During the Vietnam War he served his country in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. Bob worked for several years in the lumber products industry. He later worked at Northwest Cabinets in Grants Pass. In 2007 he moved from Grants Pass to Roseburg. He was married and divorced twice.

Bob attended Lutheran churches where he was baptized and received catechism.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, traveling, motorcycling and off-road vehicles, and social activities.

Survivors include his parents, Howell “Hal” & Joan Edwards; and two sisters, Kathleen Clark and Wendy Dawdy.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Christian Edwards.
