Robert "Bob" Hamilton

Robert “Bob” Hamilton peacefully passed away on July 19, 2020 with family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Rebecca “Becky” Hamilton.

He is survived by 4 children; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Bob was a long-term resident of Grants Pass where he lived the last 90 years of his life.

Bob was a true family man that enjoyed camping, fishing, and just being with the family that he loved dearly. He took great pride in the time he served his country in World War II. He enjoyed wearing his veteran’s hat to honor that time of his life.

One of the greatest joys of his life was his involvement with the Masonic fraternity and being a Shriner. He is a Past Master of Grants Pass Lodge #84 and Post Potentate of the Hillah Shriners. His lodge brothers were his second family and very dear friends.

In honor of him and the heart he had for the children; we are asking for donations in his memory to be given to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Portland.

A memorial is pending at the Grants Pass Masonic Center.

Private interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
