Richard Stout

Richard Stout, age 78, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Valley Rogue Christian Center with Pastor Bill Donaldson officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Richard was born September 19, 1930 in Hanford, California to Dick & Florence Stout. On April 10, 1982 in Reno, Nevada he married his wife, Joann. For over 35 years he worked as a bulk cement truck driver for Riverside Redi Mix. After his retirement, he continued to drive truck part time. He moved from Visalia, California to Grants Pass 35 years ago.

Richard was a member of Valley Rogue Christian Center where he served as a Council Member (Board) for four years and an usher.

Survivors include his wife, Joann Stout of Grants Pass; five children, Vicky Orr of Grants Pass, Richard Stout of Visalia, California, Michael Glidden of Three Forks, Montana, Charlene Tucker of Reno, Nevada and Sheri Porter of Mt Shasta, California; a brother, Leland Stout of Hanford, California; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Stout in 2006.
