Richard N. Burden

Richard N. Burden, age 83, of Grants Pass, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at his home.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Richard was born January 23, 1930 in Denver, Colorado to Richard & Clara Burden. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. While living in Los Angeles, California he worked as a packager at A.M. Lewis Distribution, a warehouse distribution center for 30 years. After retiring in 1988 he moved from Van Nuys, California to Grants Pass.

He was a member of the Teamsters Union in California.

Richard volunteered for Meals On Wheels, Salvation Army and Goodwill.

His hobbies included watching movies and reading.

Survivors include a sister, Barbara Husband of Grants Pass; a brother Kenneth Burden of Grants Pass; and many nieces and nephews.
