Richard Marlin "Rick" Collins

Richard Marlin “Rick” Collins, age 53, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at his home.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens with Bishop Gary Lathen officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Rick was born October 29, 1957 in Kokomo, Indiana to Marlin & Mary Jane (Kuntz) Collins. In 1970 he moved with his family from Kokomo to Grants Pass, Oregon and later graduated from Grants Pass High School. For 30 years he owned and operated All Clean Window Cleaning Service.

Rick was a member of B.P.O.Elks #1584 and was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

His hobbies included playing and watching sports including basketball, softball, dirt bike riding, mountain bike riding, snowboarding, and swimming. He was an Oregon Ducks and Miami Dolphins fan.

Survivors include two sons, Rocky Collins and Corey Collins; his parents, Marlin “Marty” & Mary Jane Collins; a sister, Laura Farmer; a brother, Doug Collins; and a granddaughter, Heaven Collins all of Grants Pass, Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Collins in 1966.
