Richard D. Pankey

Richard D. Pankey, age 81, of Sunny Valley, passed away on Tuesday, November 4th 2014 at his home.

Richard was born in Weed, California in 1933 to Lorenzo & Lena Pankey.

He is survived by his sisters Shirley Foster and Mary Pankey; children Valarie H. Miller(Terrence), Richard D Pankey Jr.(Beverly) and Ren Dean Pankey; nieces and nephews; five Grandchildren and nine Great-grandchildren. Family and friends will miss this man who was not only brother, father, uncle, but most defined as a friend.

Let us also remember his service in the US Army during the Korean War, and continued in the Oregon Reserve, and we are eternally grateful for his service.

Preceding him in death was his wife Cora (Penny) Lee Morgan-Pankey.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday November 9th 2014 at noon in Sunny Valley at the Town Hall Building located near the Applegate Trail Interpretive Center Museum In Sunny Valley.
