Rhonda May Macpherson

Rhonda May Macpherson, age 51, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Edgewater Christian Fellowship, 101 Assembly Circle, Grants Pass, Oregon.

Rhonda was born March 10, 1961 at the Fort Campbell, Kentucky Army base to Paul & Joyce Craig. In 1979 she graduated from Cypress High School. She then attended college in Long Beach, California on a sports scholarship as she excelled at track and cross country running. She moved from Santa Ana, California to Grants Pass 20 years ago. On June 13, 2010 she married Bryon Macpherson. For seven years she worked for Masterbrand.

For many years, Rhonda sponsored a child through Compassion International.

Her hobbies included jet skiing, boating, wakeboarding, quad riding, scuba diving, golf, and snow skiing.

In addition to her husband, Bryon Macpherson of Grants Pass, Oregon, Rhonda is survived by a son, Michael Robbins of Grants Pass, Oregon; her father, Paul Craig of Williams, Oregon; her mother, Joyce LaPan of Grants Pass, Oregon; and a sister, Julie Lombardo of Medford, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Scott Craig in 1988.
