Rebecca Lynn Brown

October 23, 1953 — October 5, 2012

Rebecca Lynn Brown, 58, of Cave Junction Oregon passed away on Friday October 5th 2012 in Medford Oregon from complications after sustaining a massive heart attack. Rebecca was born on October 23rd 1953 in Grants Pass Oregon. Rebecca was a loving wife to her Husband of 40 years William Andrew Brown. She was a supporting mother to her three children Timothy Allen Quinton, Billie Jo Brown, and Joseph William Brown. Rebecca was a caring grandmother and great grandmother to 6 granddaughters, 7 grandsons, and 2 great grand children. Rebecca was a sister to her three sisters Joann, Susie, Libby and her brother Glen. Rebecca loved to be outside with nature. If you needed to find her during the summer you could always find her sun bathing and swimming at the river. She loved sun bathing next to the river so much that I remember one time she laid in the sun so long that she gave herself second degree blister all over her stomach. In her younger years you could always find her during hunting season out in the woods trying to kill the biggest trophy buck she could find. She also liked to fish with her friends at the coast. Her greatest love was her horses which she would ride for hours while she hunted for that infamous trophy buck. Her favorite sport was bowling and I have to say in her day from what I have been told she could beat some of the best. In later years her love turned to her dogs. She loved her Chinese Pugs. She treated them as if they were her children. But if they were her children then she would have had more children then my sister. I will always remember my mother as the person that brought me into this world, the person that cuddled me when I had a bad dream, the one who disciplined me when I shot the back window out of my dad’s car and the one that loved me until the day she died.

Loving, Stubborn, Determined this is how Rebecca lived.
