Raymond R. Smith

Raymond R. Smith passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7th at his home in Central Point, Oregon at the age of 69. Ray is survived by his loving wife Chris and his children: Lo'ri, Paige, Jenavee, Zachary, Logan, Shelby, and Caty.

Raymond was born in Long Beach, California to Glenn and Margaret Smith. He received his formal education at Ricks College, Brigham Young University, and his Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School. He met Chris Howard at Yellowstone National Park in the summer of 1966 then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints in Texas. Ray then went on to marry Chris in the summer of 69'. Ray and Chris moved to Oregon with their baby Jenavee in 1976 and the remainder of their children were born in Southern Oregon.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Monday, Oct 16th at 11 am at 2305 Taylor Rd, Central Point, Oregon. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Raymond's life.
