Randy J. Johnson

Randy J. Johnson, age 56, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013 at North Valley Assembly of God Church with Pastor Curt Thorne officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Randy was born June 18, 1957 in Mexico, Missouri to Harry & Dorothy Johnson. He attended Mexico Senior High. At the age of 19, he married his sweetheart, Kathleen Gish on June 19, 1976 at Kentucky Road Christian Church. In June 1988 he moved to Grants Pass. He was employed at Lil Pantry Express in Merlin for six years.

Randy loved to hunt, fish, play horseshoes, and play with his grandkids. He loved talking to all of his customers and always helped any way he could. He adored his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen D. Johnson and two sons, Donnie Johnson and Shawn Johnson all of Grants Pass; two sisters, Marsha Ball of Wellsville, Missouri and Robin Burch of Auxvasse, Missouri; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Dorothy Johnson and a sister, Tamra Johnson.
