Ralph Turnidge

Ralph Turnidge, age 85, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at his home with his loving wife by his side.

A memorial will be held at a later date in Napa, California. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Ralph was born January 27, 1929 in Ballston, Oregon to Ralph & Juanita Turnidge. For ten years he served in the United States Navy. He then moved to the Napa Valley and worked in electronics until his retirement. He and Alice moved to the Grants Pass area 25 years ago.

While living in St Helena, California, Ralph was active with the 20/30 Club. He believed in giving back to the community he belonged to. He was very politically active.

Ralph loved camping and fishing at the ocean. Spending time with family and friends brought him great joy. Ralph will be missed by all.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Alice Turnidge of Grants Pass, Oregon; three daughters, Valerie of Oregon and Lisa and Theresa both of Napa, California; three grandsons; four great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; brother-in-law, Henry; two nephews; and two great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
