Phyllis J. Nealy, age 88, a long time resident of Grants Pass, died Monday, May 10th 2010 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2010 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Phyllis was born December 7, 1921 in Salem, Oregon. She lived in Gates, Oregon until after her sophomore year, the family then moved to Kerby, Oregon. She graduated from Kerby Union High School and married Woodrow W. Nealy on October 15, 1940.
She was a 4-H leader and an avid supporter of the 4-H program. She spent many hours doing dishes for the May breakfast and making jams, jellies and vinegars for the Bazaar at Bethany Presbyterian Church.
She loved gardening and doing things for her family and church.
Survivors include a son, James E. Nealy of Grants Pass; two daughters, Myrtice Jackson and Betty Hildwein, also of Grants Pass; three sisters, Myrtice Morrison of Bend, Oregon, Dena Goupil of Nampa, Idaho and Doris Bickel of Athens, Georgia; a brother, Wendall Jones of Damascus, Oregon; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Woodrow W. Nealy on February 24, 1987
