Phil Bryant Beavers

Phil Bryant Beavers, age 65, of Applegate, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 19, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Phil was born November 13, 1957 in Winfield, Kansas to Herbert & Judith Beavers. In 1964 his family moved from Kansas to Jacksonville, Oregon. He attended Jacksonville Elementary and graduated from Medford High School in 1976. He worked for Silvey Chain Grinders for 20 years, beginning at age 18. While there, he designed chain grinders and went to logging shows. He then worked as an Oregon OSHA compliance officer for 22 years. On June 10, 2006 at Applegate Christian Fellowship, Phil married Dena Franklin.

Phil served as a sound technician at Applegate Community Church.

His hobbies included water skiing, snow skiing, mountain biking, motorcycle riding, boating, welding, and karate with Chip Wright.

Phil is survived by his wife Dena Kay Franklin; son Andrew Lee; father Herbert Beavers; and brother Stacy Beavers.

He was preceded in death by his mother Judith; brother Brad; and nephew Ryan.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Ruch Community Bible Church with Pastor Lou Constantino officiating.
