Penny Lea Trout

Penny Lea Trout, age 75, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at her home.

Penny was born June 3, 1943 in Los Angeles, California to Richard Hackstock & Marjorie Deon Jenkins. She grew up in the San Fernando Valley and attended Reseda High School.

In 1974 she moved to Cave Junction, Oregon where she worked at Illinois Valley High School, then OSEA (Oregon School Employees Association) until her retirement in 2008. After traveling in their RV camp hosting at Oregon Coast State Parks, she and her husband settled in Grants Pass.

Survivors include her husband, Michael; four children, Dink, David, Dennis, and Denise; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother; two sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Her wishes were for no services.
