Paul Emil Herve

Paul Emil Herve, 94, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 16, 2007 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorial service will follow at 3:30 P.M. at Allen Creek Neighborhood Church with Pastor Dave Barton officiating. Hull and Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

He was born on February 11, 1913 in Brantwood, Wisconsin to John and Hilma Hirvi. On July 6, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio he married Esther Ida Mackey who preceded him in death on January 12, 1990.

He worked for Warner & Swazey Co. in Cleveland during World War II and then worked for 33 years at Eaton Corporation Airflex Division as Chief Tool Engineer. After retiring in 1978, he moved to Reno, Nevada and became the President of Sierra Digital Research. He finally retired to Grants Pass in 1989.

He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, taking long walks, and reading.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Sandra Herve of Grants Pass; and numerous nieces and nephews.
