Patrick Seumas Farley, age 64, of Takilma, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 as the result of an automobile accident Myrtle Creek.
A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2008 at his home at 9445 Takilma Road in Takilma. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Patrick was born September 27, 1943 in Carthage, Missouri to Robert & Carolyn Farley. In 1961 he graduated from high school in Mount, Minnesota. He attended college in San Francisco for a year. In 1972 he moved from California to Takilma where he founded the food co-op in Takilma. In 1976 he and his wife, Elisabeth Goines, managed together the Wonder natural food store and bulk herb distribution for 3 years. From 1980 he owned and operated Hope Mt Herb
and Natural food distribution.
He was a member of the Takilma Food Co-op since1980.
He was the greatest fan of Illinois Valley High School Cougar sports. His hobbies included golfing, basketball, football, and gardening. He enjoyed record collecting, especially jazz, rock & roll, and classical. He was a musician and played the saxophone and flute.
He is survived by a daughter, Heather of Seattle; three sons, Eusheen Goines of Wilderville, William Horton of Ojai, California, and Aillin Goines of Takilma; his mother, Carolyn Stoll of Mount, Minnesota; three sisters, Liz Farley of Mount, Minnesota, and Kate Farley of Seattle, Washington, and Molly Farley of Kingston, New York; two brothers, Tim Farley of Madison, Wisconsin and Shawn Farley of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and two grandchildren.
