Paralee Jean Eadie, 74, of Rogue River, OR. passed away on Monday morning, March 9, 2020. Paralee was the daughter of Joseph P. Bugarewicz and Laverne P. Cramer. Her stepmother is Marguerite C. Bugarewicz.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to California where she met and later married Rod Eadie. They lived in Orange County for 13 years then moved to Southern Oregon. They lived in Rogue River for 43 years. Rod and Paralee’s children are Matt Eadie, Kirk Eadie, Wendy Eadie-Barnwell, Nathan Barnwell and Robyn Jones-Eadie. They have 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was a skilled writer and excelled at poetry. She wrote for a small Farmer’s Journal magazine as well as for Farm and Ranch magazine. She has had several articles published in the Rogue River Press and she has a website with many of the poems she has written – Applecreekpoetry.com. Her poetry has been honored by the Queen of England and several of the Presidents of the United States.
She was gifted with many talents and shared them readily. She has tutored many children in Math, English, and taught adult and children in Sunday School. She will be remembered best as the amazing wife of 56 years and mother of her family including many friends that were more like adopted children. Her life and poetry have touched so many people that it is hard to name all that are now like family. She leaves behind many dear friends in Rogue River and the entire Rogue Valley. She also has many family members back east in the Chicago area, and other states.
