Oma Grace Stalker

Oma Grace Stalker, age 91, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, 2009 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Mausoleum intombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to Lions Eye Bank of Oregon, 2201 SE 11th Avenue, Portland Oregon 97214.

Oma was born January 10, 1918 in Warsaw, Indiana to Russell & Anne LeFever. She grew up and attended school in Indiana and later moved to San Diego, California where she lived for 12 years. In the late 60’s she moved from San Diego to Grants Pass. For 26 years she worked, owned and operated “Oma & Friends Tours” serving Southern Oregon and Yreka, California where she organized Reno bus tours and other slot destinations. She retired at age 89.

She was founding member of the Boys & Girls Club in Grants Pass where she help with soliciting funds.

She loved her many toy poodles and trips to Reno, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her only son.
