Nita Louise (Winterbottom) Cadwalader, age 38, of Madras died Friday, April 3, 2009 at her home.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with Pastor Ken Bern officiating.
Nita was born to Windell & Pat (Jubera) Winterbottom on January 11, 1971 in Grants Pass where she grew up. In 1989 she graduated from Hidden Valley High School and was a member of DECA and for four years kept stats for the wrestling team. In 1995 she graduated from University of Idaho with a degree in Science of Horticulture. On May 1, 1999 in Grants Pass she married Jason Cadwalader. She moved from Grants Pass to Madras 14 years ago and was employed as a field representative for Central Oregon Seed.
Nita was active in 4-H in Grants Pass for 10 years including the Trailblazers 4-H Club.
Nita loved horses and barrel racing. She participated in several barrel racing clubs throughout Central Oregon. She also enjoyed flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Jason Cadwalader and a son, Garrett Cadwalader both of Madras; her mother, Pat Winterbottom of Grants Pass; a brother, Paul Winterbottom of Medford; grandparents, Art & Helen Jubera of Grants Pass and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Windell in 1979 and a brother, John in 1985.
