Nancy Jane Wallace

Nancy Jane Wallace, age 52, of Grants Pass, died March 9, 2019 at her home.

Nancy was born July 28, 1966 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Leonard & Patricia Williams. She grew up in Grants Pass and attended local schools including Lincoln Savage Middle School. In 1981 she met Joey Wallace on the mountain in Wolf Creek and they were married July 28, 1983. Together they lived in remote areas of Southern Alaska for many years where they raised and homeschooled their children and had to have planes fly in their schoolwork.

Her hobbies included riding horses, hiking on the beach, crabbing, clam digging, picking berries; her dogs and all her farm animals. She especially loved time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years and together for over 37 years, Joe Wallace of Grants Pass; son DJ; daughter Wendy Jane; five grandchildren Kahven Edward Beck, Treysen Dale Beck, Raeleyna Jane Beck, Layhten David Beck and son’s daughter Sarianni; five siblings Edie Rush, Lynnie Williams, Melinda Wallace, Patty Herman, and George Williams.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors. Interment will immediately follow.
