Nancy Helen Henshall

Nancy Helen Henshall, age 61, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her home.

Private services have been held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the Savage Church of Christ, 220 NE Savage Street, Grants Pass, Oregon.

Nancy was born July 29, 1951 in Compton, California to Paul & Eunice Iverson. In 1970 she graduated from Warren High School in Downey, California. After graduation she worked for the Downey school district for six years and was able to work in both of her children’s classrooms. On January 15, 1972 in Paramount, California she married Billie C. Henshall and in January 1997 they renewed their wedding vows. In 1984 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She lived in Downey for 30 plus years before moving Grants Pass 15 years ago.

Nancy was a member of Savage Street Church of Christ for 15 years and a member of the North Downey Church of Christ since the early 80’s in Downey, California.

Her hobbies included baking, painting and she loved whales and dolphins. She especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her spouse, Bill Henshall of Grants Pass; a daughter, Paula Rhodes and husband Stewart of Marsing, Idaho; a son Scott Henshall and wife Vivian of Grants Pass; and seven grandchildren, Cody, Courtney, Connor, Chase and Cole Rhodes and Billy and Taylor Henshall.
