Nancy C. Vernoy

Nancy C. Vernoy, age 75, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at her daughter’s home in Rogue River.

Private interment was held at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Nancy was born July 6, 1936 in Osborn, Missouri to Clevis & Reve Burnett. On February 24, 1957 in Las Vegas, Nevada she married Alfred H. Vernoy. In 1964 she moved to Oregon. She worked as a cook for Rogue River School District for 17 years.

Survivors include three children, Alex Joyal of Killeen, Texas, Al Vernoy Jr of Lakota, North Dakota, and Tonya Townzen of Rogue River, Oregon; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred H. Vernoy Sr.
