Nancy Alspach-Davis, age 95, of Grants Pass, died Friday, March 6, 2015 at her home.
Nancy was born December 28, 1919 in Waimate, South Island, New Zealand to Herbert & Gertrude (Scarlett) Judson. At age four, she moved with her family to Oakland, California. She attended a private high school in San Francisco where she paid her own tuition. In 1966 at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California she earned her nursing degree. In 1972 she moved from Cupertino, California to Grants Pass. From 1972 to 1989 she worked as night supervisor at Josephine Memorial Hospital.
Nancy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Merlin Ward. She previously served as relief society president, compassionate service leader, and visiting teacher.
Nancy loved people and temple service.
Survivors include five children, Judson Britton of Aptos, California, Keith Britton of Costa Rica, Yvonne Voss-Liechty of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tandy Camacho of Elko, Nevada, and Nancy E. Alspach of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Olga Barker of Ogden, Utah; a brother, Ronald Judson of Red Bluff, California; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by ten siblings.
A viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Savage Street Relief Society Room.
A funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Savage Street with Bishop Mike Pierce officiating. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
