Mitchell Brett Coe

Mitchell Brett Coe was born on April 5, 1985, in Grants Pass, Oregon, to Mona and Brett Coe. On July 5, 2022, he passed away, peacefully in his sleep at home.

After attending Allendale Elementary, South Middle School and Grants Pass High School he graduated in 2003. Mitch was a devoted son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend. Growing up Mitch was active in Scouts, 4-H, and Boys and Girls Club sports. His lust for adventure began at an early age with BMX racing and then onto motorcycles. He loved riding with his dad and friends. He loved sports and participated in soccer, basketball, wrestling, and football. He was proud to have been a part of the Caveman football team.

He was an excellent mechanic and spent countless hours working on his motorcycles and truck. He even named his black Labrador “Throttle”. Mitch actively spent time with his family. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping, boating, and just hanging out with his family and friends. Mitch’s active life was cut short due to a degenerative condition that affected his physical well- being. Through this, he developed an interest in remote control cars and trucks.

He is survived by his mother, Mona Coe, his father Brett Coe, his sister Alissa (Sequoia) Gjerde, niece Hailee, and nephew Tyson reside in Oakridge, Oregon. grandmother, Wanda Tressler, aunt Aubra (David) Johnson, uncles Bruce Boyers, Lyle (Barbera) Curtis, Russell Coe, J.C (Wendy) Coe, Gary (Denise) Best, and Alfred (Melinda) Best and his beloved dog, Throttle. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends. He will be missed by many who loved him.

Mitch’s interment will be Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. (2500 Upper River Road) All are invited to attend. Following interment, a Celebration of Life will be held at Faith Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. (3405 Williams Highway) Luncheon will follow.
