Mildred "Millie" Casey

Mildred “Millie” Casey, age 73, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at her home.

Millie was born February 13, 1942 in Indio, California to Lillian Williams. In 1958 she graduated from Indio High School and in 1989 she moved from Imperial Beach, California to Grants Pass. On September 28, 1996 at Parkway Christian Center in Grants Pass she married Bruce Casey.

Millie was a member of Parkway Christian Center, Rogue Gem & Geology Club, and Gideon’s International.

Her hobbies included quilting, crafting, jewelry making, entertaining, and hunting for agates on the Oregon Coast with her husband.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Casey of Grants Pass, Oregon; three children, Edward Tice and wife Karen of Lancaster, California, Christine Harlin and husband George of Imperial Beach, California and Robert Tice and wife Patty of San Diego, California; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Mael and husband Christopher of Snohomish, Washington; a sister, Pat Hobson of Lancaster, California; a brother, Dennis Hobson of Los Angeles, California; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Parkway Christian Center. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
