Mildred Mary Ash

Mildred Mary Ash, age 96, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Oak Lane.

A viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2014 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Ken Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

Mildred was born December 29, 1917 in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana and lived there until 1951 when she moved with her family to Alameda, California. In 1976 she moved from Pleasant Hill, California to Grants Pass. On September 22, 1979 she married J.D. Ash who preceded her in death on October 29, 1989.

Mildred was a member of the Eagles Aerie Lodge #2146 and the Lady Elks #1584.

Her hobbies included dancing, crocheting, cooking, hook rugs, and painting.

Survivors include a daughter, Mildred Mealer of Grants Pass, Oregon; five sons, Ernest LeGaux and Elden LeGaux both of Grants Pass, Oregon, Kenneth LeGaux of Selma, Oregon, Stanley LeGaux of Silver Lake, Nevada and Leslie LeGaux of Central Point, Oregon; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
