Mildred Furlatte

Mildred Furlatte passed away peacefully on June 2, 2011 at the age of 93, in Grants Pass, Oregon.

She and Roland, her adored husband who passed away in 2004, had resided in Rogue River since his retirement. Mildred was very active in the Democratic
Party. As locals will remember, she wrote frequent letters to the Editor.

She was also an active volunteer with the Head Start Program. Mildred was from Condon and resided many years in Long Beach, California.

She loved cooking, bridge, travel and her family.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Barbara Humphreys; five grandchildren, Patty, Sam, Christina, Amanda, John Q and seven great-grandchildren: Sophie, Sarah, Rachel, William, Alex, Nicole and Samuel Roland.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Fair View Transitional Health Center in Grants Pass and to the outstanding supervision of Roger Fogg. Mildred has requested no service, only that her friends donate to the Charity of their choice.
