Micki Rae Broeske

Micki Rae Broeske, age 42, of Gold Hill, died Monday, May 9, 2011 in Grants Pass.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Remembrances may be made to Medford Police Department, 411 West 8th Street, Medford, Oregon 97501.

Micki was born July 18, 1968 in Grants Pass, Oregon. She was a 1986 graduate of Grants Pass High School. After high school she moved to Ashland where she attended Southern Oregon University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications in 2004. She then moved to Gold Hill and for the past ten years worked for the Central Point Police Department as a support police specialist assigned to the high crimes unit and as a property and evidence clerk.

Micki especially enjoyed the outdoors, riding her two horses, and going on long walks with her two Labrador retrievers.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Pankey of Sunny Valley, Oregon; two sisters, Rox Ann Poulton of Grants Pass, Oregon and Denise Henry of Medford, Oregon; and a brother, Randy Hummel of Portland, Oregon.
