Michelle Humphreys Conner

Michelle Humphreys Conner, age 48, of Selma, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 5, 2011.

A memorial service was held at Rivers of Life Foursquare Church in Grants Pass with Pastor Rick Gilmore officiating. Interment was held at Deer Creek Cemetery in Selma. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Michelle was born May 7, 1963 in Hollywood, California. After having two children, she attended college to become a registered nurse, graduating with honors. She worked in several hospitals and clinics in both California and Oregon. She moved to Selma 13 years ago.

Michelle was very talented at drawing, painting, and various other forms of art. Over the years, she enjoyed raising and breeding Poodles, Pomeranians, and Chihuahuas. Michelle had a passion for memorizing and sharing scripture with others, especially over the internet.

Michelle is survived by her parents, Jerry & Joann Rush; her husband, Curt Conner; three sons, Blake Humphreys, Joshua Rust, and Kyle Humphreys; a daughter, Grace Humphreys; and a brother, Michael Wayne.

She was preceded in death by a husband, Kenny Lyle Humphreys.
