Michael R. Shadbolt, age 58, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.
No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Michael was born November 19, 1953 in Tacoma, Washington to John & Violet Shadbolt. From 1971 to 1973 he served in the United States Army. For 30 years he lived in Evergreen, Colorado and was a manger at Grease Monkey Lube & Oil in Denver. He later lived in Yuma, Arizona for four years before moving to Grants Pass five years ago. He was previously the park host at Indian Mary Park and Wolf Creek Park and for the past 18 months at Griffin Park.
Michael especially enjoyed fly fishing and going for rides in the mountains.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Shadbolt of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sisters, Sharon Jensen of Camano Island, Washington and Debbie Shadbolt Lee of Everett, Washington; and two brothers, John Shadbolt of Arlington, Washington and Jeff Shadbolt of Everett, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
