Michael Gordon Regnell

Michael Gordon Regnell, 53, died January 5, 2021 in Grants Pass, Oregon after losing a hard-fought battle of complications from Covid-19. Mike enjoyed wood working, computers, camping and fishing. He served in the navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, but never went to sea, the ship was in dry dock. He worked as a customer service representative for Home Depot where he made friends easily and was always ready to go out of his way to help.

Born November 6, 1967, in Elmhurst, Illinois, the son of Stuart Paul Regnell and Valli Marie Ronneberg. Both parents preceded him in death. He was the youngest of six children: sisters Denise (Bill) Weber of Mesa, AZ; Susan Schoepke of Clarksdale, AZ; Sandra Dvorscak of Grand Junction, CO; Deborah (Jeff) Mrozinsky of Cody, WY; and brother Robert (Melissa) Regnell of Laramie, WY; all of whom are still living.

He married Lisa D'Ann Watts in Cody, Wyoming on June 26, 1996 where they lived until moving back to Lisa's hometown of Grants Pass in 1998. Mike had a daughter, Andrea Regnell, that he brought to that marriage, and together they had a daughter, Amanda Regnell, both of Grants Pass. He is also survived by one grandson, Dominik Cox.

He will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends in the Rogue Valley. Graveside services are pending at this time.
