Michael Allen Hendrickson

Michael Allen Hendrickson, age 26, of Cave Junction, died Monday, October 14, 2013 as the result of an automobile accident.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Illinois Valley Funeral Directors.

Michael was born July 18, 1987 in Lodi, California. In 1997 he moved from Sacramento, California to Sams Valley. He also lived in Grants Pass before moving to Cave Junction where he attended Illinois Valley High School and played football. He worked for Rogue Valley Door then Grayback Forestry for three years as a faller. He most recently worked for Rough & Ready Lumber pulling green chain.

He enjoyed making people laugh; 4-wheeling and bon fires; working in the woods; hunting and fishing. He loved his family and friends and hanging with his buddies.

Survivors include his companion, Charly Davis of Cave Junction, Oregon; his father, Terry Hendrickson of Cave Junction, Oregon; his mother, Kathleen Hendrickson of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Nicole Hendrickson of Juneau, Alaska; paternal grandmother, Mary Hendrickson of Sacramento, California; maternal grandmother, Donna Wilkerson of Galt, California; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and a valley full of friends.
