Melvin E. Robertson

Melvin E. Robertson, age 95, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at his home.

Melvin was born September 2, 1920 in Jerome, Idaho to William & Ella Robertson. He was a sergeant in the United States Army and served his country during World War II. Melvin graduated in 1959 from the FBI National Academy and worked in law enforcement. On May, 11, 1965 he married Marjorie S. Visser. From 1965 until his retirement, he worked as a barber. Melvin moved from Brookings to Grants Pass in 1997.

Survivors include his wife Marjorie S. Robertson and a brother, Richard A. Robertson.

Preceding him in death were his parents, William A. & Ella Robertson; three sisters, Dorothy, Mildred and Myrtle and a brother, Lloyd.

Private services will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
