Melinda Bartscht

Melinda Bartscht, age 55, of Grants Pass, died Monday, September 1, 2008 at Fair View Transitional Health Center.

No services will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Melinda was born November 3, 1952 in Eureka, California to Orvil & Helen Bartscht. She was a graduate of Eureka High School and attended College of the Redwoods where she received her AA Degree. In July of 1990 in Carson City, Nevada, she married James L. Nissen. She moved from Pacifica, California to Grants Pass six years ago.

Her hobbies included flower gardening and arranging flowers. She also rescued animals, especially cats.

Survivors include her husband, James Nissen of Grants Pass; a daughter, Hillary Bartscht of Grants Pass and four sisters.
