Matthew Olin Huff

Matthew Olin Huff passed away February 8th, 2015. He was born June 6th, 1974 in Medford, OR and was raised in Jacksonville. Matt graduated from Marshfield High School in 1992. After high school Matt worked mostly in construction, specializing in roofing. Matt was also certified for Asbestos removal after taking courses in Portland, OR. Matt also worked as a firefighter for a couple of summers on local forest fires.

Matt was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a Boy Scout growing up and had a great love of the outdoors, camping, fishing, cycling and sports. Matt was a car, truck and motorcycle enthusiast. Matt was a talented pencil and pen artist.

Matt is a beloved father, son, brother and uncle. Matt's greatest love was his family. He is survived by his two children, Justin and Daisy, former spouse Meredee, parents John and Karen, brothers Tim, Andy, Jonny and Peter and sisters, Sarah, Anna and Jessica.

A Celebration of his life will be held 2-5 pm Saturday, February 21st at the LDS chapel at 3456 Bellinger Lane, Medford, OR.
