Mary Lou Oltjenbruns

Mary Lou Oltjenbruns, age 80, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Arbor Place in Medford.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Mary Lou was born January 17, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska to Theadore & Helen Buller. On June 24, 1955 she married Hubert Oltjenbruns. She completed two years of schooling at Moody Bible Institute. She was instrumental in helping operate two family businesses that she started with her husband in the 60’s and 70’s and later managing rental property. In 1980 they moved from Whittier, California to Cave Junction where they built their home and Mary Lou enjoyed furnishing and decorating it. In 1990 they moved to Grants Pass.

Mary Lou was a member of Toastmistresses and Redwood Country Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lee Oltjenbruns of Grants Pass, Oregon and Steven Oltjenbruns of Rancho Cucamonga, California; two brothers, Teddy Buller and Russel Buller; and sister, Lee Dugay all of Omaha, Nebraska; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
