Mary A. Pope

Mary A. Pope, age 82, of Grants Pass, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

Mary was born on March 18, 1933 in Long Beach, California. She lived in Selma and the Grants Pass area almost all of her life. For years, Mary worked as a security fire watch person for fire companies.

She loved her flower gardens.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Ann McBride of Grants Pass, Lora Reynolds of O’Brien, Vicky Nichols of Grants Pass and Wanda Yannyon of Orangevale, California; a sister Joan Kuenniger; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Lewis J. Pope; parents, Joe & Sybil Paquette; a brother, Ernest Paquette; sisters, Nadine Lewis, Vera Gamez and Alice Noel; a granddaughter, Sherry Lynn Wills and a great-great-granddaughter, Brandy Eynbysk.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
