Martha J. Radon

Martha J. Radon, age 65, of Merlin, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

A life celebration will be held at a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Martha was born April 24, 1945 in Taft, California to Samual & Sara Sharp the youngest of eight children. She attended El Dorado Union High School in Placerville, California. On May 5, 1962 in Carson City, Nevada she married her sweetheart, Dan L. Radon. She moved from Nevada City, California to Merlin 17 years ago. She was presently employed at Home Instead Senior Care.

Her hobbies included gardening, fishing, boating, and she especially enjoyed her pets.

In addition to her husband, Dan L. Radon of Merlin, Oregon; she is survived by two sons, Michael Radon of North San Juan, California and Kevin Radon of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sisters, Bernice Thorne of Shady Cove, Oregon and Marilyn Brown and husband Frank of Nevada City, California; two brothers, Daniel Sharp and Robert Sharp and wife DeAnna all of Eagle Point, Oregon; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Ann Radon; her parents, Samual & Sara Sharp; two sisters, Mildred Brickle and Vera Sharp; and a brother, Orville Sharp.
