He was born on April 14, 1969 in Pomona, California. The family moved to Bandon, Oregon when he was a child and in 1987 he graduated from Bandon High School. He lived in Grants Pass for eight years in the early 1990’s. He was employed by Lowes in Medford and then McKenzie Towables transferring to Eugene where he worked for Monaco as an electrical engineer. His last job was working for Lanz Cabinets as a design engineer, a position he took great pride in.
Mark was born again into the kingdom of God in August 2000 and was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. Mark had a real heart of love for the Lord, his son Samuel, and his family. He was passionate about his work with the local search and rescue with his dog Thunder.
He enjoyed several years coaching soccer for his son Samuel. He was an avid artist since his early childhood. While at Bandon High School he helped design and paint the “Bandon Tiger” mascot and loved to draw almost anything. He also enjoyed a light show and music business he started in Eugene.
He is survived by his son, Samuel of Grants Pass; his parents, Lynda and Ernie Tigert of Bandon; a sister, Stacey Steward of Brookings; a brother, Timothy Tigert of Reno, Nevada; and multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
