Marilyn Kae Meyer

Marilyn Kae Meyer, age 75, of Merlin, died September 5, 2022 at her home. Marilyn was born to Ralph Roeder and Esther Lenzmeier in Rochester, Minnesota. Marilyn moved to Merlin Oregon in 1994 from Rio Linda, Sacramento, Californina.

Marilyn graduated from Lourdes High School. After graduating she attended St. Mary’s Nursing School and became an LPN. She worked in this profession for many years. After retiring, she volunteered in the local hospital auxiliary and other organizations. She was also a member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church. Marilyn’s hobbies included camping, crocheting, reading and Club Northwest.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Darrell R. Meyer, of 34 years. She is also survived by her stepdaughters Janene Iorga of Sacramento, California, Jolene Martin of York, South Carolina and Jill Meyer Fong of Elk Grove, California; her sister Yvonne Roeder Clinton (Jim) of Davis, California. Marilyn has numerous nieces and nephews and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Ralph Joseph and Esther Marie Roeder, her sister Gail Koglmeier.
