Margarete Louise Lynes

Margarete Louise Lynes, age 70, of Grants Pass, passed away on Friday, March 22nd 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Oregon. She was born in Decatur, Alabama to Sarah and Roosevelt Stewart. She married Gary Lynes in 1993 and he survives.

Also surviving are her 4 children, Robert (Jo) of Liverpool, England, Richard of Fortuna, California, Sheryl (Jon) of Fortuna, California, Stephen of Grants Pass, Oregon and her 13 Grand Children and 1 Great Grand Child.

Margarete’s mother Sarah Stewart and her father Roosevelt Stewart preceded her in death.

In lieu of a memorial service, Margarete’s wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest with her parents in Alabama.

Margarete was a loving mother and homemaker living in Grants Pass with her husband Gary since 1993. She was a Christian woman and never missed a chance to read her Bible. She was very involved with her children and she loved to play games especially when family visited and she never missed a Saturday phone call to her children. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her. God bless and keep her for she has been set free.
