Margaret Foster

Margaret Ann Foster, age 74, of Grants Pass died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at her home.

A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.

Margaret was born March 17, 1936, in Leslie, Ark., to Lucy Marie Treat and Jerley Edward Ward. She was raised in Arkansas before moving to California with her family when she was a teenager. On Aug. 15, 1952, in Sutter, Calif., she married Robert Lee Nieto, whom she later divorced. On Jan. 1, 1977, in Lodi, Calif., she married Charles Franklin Foster, who died in March 1998. She lived most of her life in Sutter before moving to Grants Pass in 1994.

She enjoyed helping families in need and preaching the Gospel.

Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Hollis of Dixon, S.D., Diana Jones of Winston and Dolores Nieto of Spokane, WA; four sons, Darwin Nieto of Azalea; David Nieto of Yuba City, CA; Dennis Nieto of Chico, CA, and Donald Nieto of Clearlake, CA; a brother, James Ward of Bothell, WA; 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
