Margaret E. Linderman, age 93, of Rogue River, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Rose Cottage Adult Foster Care.
A viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, Friday, October 19, 2012 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Foots Creek Chapel, 913 Foots Creek Road. Private interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Margaret was born April 25, 1919 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Norman & Flossie Allsberry. As a child she moved from Twin Falls to California. She graduated from Huntington Park High School. On January 16, 1936 she married Charles Linderman. In 1971 she moved from Arcadia, California to Rogue River.
She was a longtime member of Foots Creek Chapel and was active in Daytimers and Nifty Fifties at the church.
Margaret volunteered as a Pink Lady at Huntington Park Hospital and with Three Rivers Auxillary.
Her hobbies included gardening, knitting, crocheting, reading and lifelong adventures with her family. She loved going on outings in search of ice cream.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Linderman and wife Sandy of Monrovia, California and David Linderman and wife Peggy of Rogue River; a daughter, Lois Burks and husband Larry of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, Kathryn Reasoner and husband Rand, Shelly Dandridge and husband Scott, Jessica Linderman, Katy Kuehlthau and husband Ryan and Adam Lazear and wife Maria and three great-grandchildren, Stephen Reasoner and wife Eleanor, Gregory Reasoner and Joah Kuehlthau.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles Linderman; a daughter, Peg Scott and husband Ron; a granddaughter, Maria Lazear and a great-grandson, Berlin Kuehlthau.
