Margaret E. Fuller-Sha, age 87, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Dick Kelso officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, New York 10001.

Margaret was born December 17, 1921 in Kit Carson, Colorado to Karl & Blanche Forrest. She grew up in Kit Carson and graduated from Kit Carson High School in 1940. After graduation, she worked in Washington D.C. In 1944 she moved with her parents to Grants Pass. In 1945 in Reno, Nevada she married Arthur Dale Fuller, who preceded her in death in 1978. She was employed for Josephine County Clerk’s Office, but was primarily a homemaker. In 1988 in Woodland, California she married Roy Frank Sha, who preceded her in death in 2005.

Margaret belonged to First Baptist Church for many years where she was a member of the Pacemakers. In her later years, she was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

She volunteered with local nursing homes and contributed to many charitable organizations.

Her hobbies included music, singing, dancing, and traveling.

Survivors include three children, Chuck of Rogue River, Christy of Rogue River, and David of White City; a brother, Karl Forrest Jr of Cedar City, Utah; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Harvey Forrest and Roger Forrest.
