Mae Maxine Green

Mae Maxine “Peg” Green, age 84, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

“Peg” was born July 28, 1923 in Milton Oregon. She was a graduate of Grants Pass High School. From January 25, 1944 through December 21, 1945 she served in the United States Army Air Corp and served as clerk and motor pool driver. On August 21, 1948 in Reno, Nevada she married Dale Green. She moved from Wilderville to Medford before settling in Glendale in 1978 where she lived for 30 years.

Her hobbies included oil painting and cooking.

Survivors include sons, Charles Green of Glendale and James Green of Grants Pass; sisters, Jean Brayman and Lila Audit, both of Seattle Washington; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Green; son Steven Green and brothers James and John Pierce.
