Lynn Saylor, age 60, of Grants Pass, died Friday, June 13, 2014 at her mother’s home.
A memorial graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Woodville Cemetery with Pastor Mike Moore officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
She was born Diana Lynn King, as a twin, on January 31, 1954 in San Francisco, California to Dale & Doralene (Granger) King. At one month old, she moved with her family to Rogue River. She grew up in Rogue River and graduated from Rogue River High School Class of 1972. She waitressed at several Southern Oregon restaurants and sometimes worked four jobs at a time. She also drove a bus for Grants Pass School District #7, Laidlaw Transportation and for Rogue Valley Transportation in Josephine County. She lived in the Rogue River/Grants Pass area all her life.
Her hobbies were horseback riding and homemaking.
She held strong Christian beliefs and often volunteered to drive her church bus.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Richard N. Saylor of Grants Pass, Oregon; a son, David Wayne Saylor of Boise, Idaho; her mother, Doralene Murphy of Grants Pass, Oregon; her father, Dale King of Ashland, Oregon; three sisters including her identical twin sister, Deborah Ann Jackson of Merlin, Oregon, Barbara Steiger of Grants Pass, Oregon and Dora Watson of Goldendale, Washington; three brothers, Ben Huston of Rogue River, Oregon, Bill Anderson of Portland, Oregon and Joe Anderson of Medford, Oregon; and two grandchildren, Mia Saylor and Tyler Saylor both of Boise, Idaho.
